These first set of pictures are from yesterday evening. The crew got back from their visit of the beautiful settlement of Hope Town around 7:00 PM. So we decided to motor over to a nice protected anchorage for the evening. These guys could not wait to put up their hammocks and enjoy the ride!
Before breakfast this crew got Ciganka under full sail heading to the north end of Bakers Bay to do an outside reef dive. The crew did a great job getting the sails up and we were on our way. The winds were fairly light but we were cruising along nicely for 2 hours until the squall hit. Luckily we got all the sails down before the brunt of the squall was on top of us. You see from the picture I took of the sky this was not a friendly storm. But it was short lived with not much rain and we continued on the ocean side of the island for our dive.
I got some incredible pictures from our snorkel on Bakers Bay Reef this afternoon. As soon as we got in the water there was a 4 ft. barracuda that hung around for a while. The reef itself was amazing and most of us got to see the 5 ft. reef shark. We topped off the day with “Admiral” Linda’s conch fritters she made from the conch we found, spaghetti, salad, and butter cake with chocolate icing. Now the “boys” are fishing. Ahhhhhhh another great day!
Can you find the black grouper??

Looks like all you guys had “just another day in paradise” 🙂
Sailing on the Ciganka looks amazing!!! Fishing, snorkeling, conch hunting, watching the dolphins play, relaxing in hammocks in the breeze…it just doesn’t get much better!! We’re jealous! Thanks so much for the wonderful blog and the fantastic pictures. And an extra big thank you for taking such good care of our boys!!! Miss you, Ty, but glad you are having a great adventure!
Love you bunches!

Hey Sean! I love the pic of you in the hammock. It must be amazing to sleep on the deck of such a beautiful boat while looking up at the stars. I can’t wait to see you tomorrow. Enjoy your last day onboard the boat and have a safe trip home.
