This is how our sailboat Ciganka began. That is Thomas using a cutting torch on the plates of steel to cut the framing pieces. I am glad we are not at that stage of the game any more!
We sailed out of the Man-O-War cut (Abacos, Bahamas) at 7:30 AM on Wednesday August 14th and sailed into the Luperon, Dominican Republic at 9:00 PM on Monday August 19th. It was a 5 1/2 day ocean sail. Leaving the Abacos the wind was blowing light out of the Southeast so we motor sailed heading
